| Tree : Ginkgo (Maidenhair Tree) |
- Eternal growth & Strong desire
It is classifed into falling leaves forest tree, of maldenhair tree family, of the order of maldenhair. It has a long history and is very strong both in hot and cold weather. It grows fast and has a strong resistance to diseases, so it can be well planted regardless the types of soils.
Since its strong and long lasting character, Ginkgo is representing Anseong-si as 'eternal growth and strong desire'

| Flower : Forsythia (golden-bell tree) |
- Peaceful and humble heart
it is classified into falling & wide leaves bushes, family of Mulpure tree, and item of Yongdam. Tree's color is gray brown and the branches are almost square with little rounding.
If the branch touches the ground, it roots down underneath. This flower is spreading all over the Korea, except Hankyung Province, and symbolizes spring atmosphere.
This flower blooms and makes yellow bundles in groups, so it can represent Anseong's 'peaceful and humble heart', rather than standing randomly by itself around mountains.

- Modest intention
Bird of Sparrow family, and order of Crow. This is also Korean national bird, as their singing is considered as good news in the East.
Magpie is a resident bird mostly in urban parks and suburban gardens, found all around Korea. Symbolizing ' modest intention' for Anseong.
