- This temple was built by Silla Dynasty’s Buddhist leader, Jajang Yulsa in the 5th year of Queen Seondeok (636) and rebuilt by the highest Buddhist priest Hyeso Guksa in Goryeo Dynasty. Chiljangsa Temple has plenty of cultural properties in the precincts of the shrine. Many tourists visit this temple in four seasons for the dense woods and the cool valley surroundings the temple.
